Malaria is one of the most significant public health threats in the world; nearly half of the world's population is at risk of contracting malaria in their lifetime.  While there is no currently licensed vaccine for malaria, there is active research to develop one.  Professors from the Center for Malaria Research at Penn State discuss the promising candidates that could one day yield a vaccine against malaria.
